South Sound Radiology (SSR) is looking for a full time/day shift MRI Technologist.
We're an Outpatient Imaging Center, located in Olympia, Washington. Come join a truly amazing team.
Location:
Located in beautiful Olympia, Washington. Geographically located between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Budd Inlet and the Deschutes River. The South Sound offers stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountain range. Compensation:
Hourly salary range $42.01/hour to $65.54/hour. The hourly rate is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.
The pay range listed above is base pay; this position may be eligible for additional compensation, such as shift differential (applied to all evening and weekend hours), extra shift bonus, and on-call pay.

Position Summary:
Utilizes an MRI scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents
Properly performs imaging to facility and ACR standards
Appropriately protocol all orders in advance of appointments
Properly screen patients prior to scans for any precautions or contraindications
Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health and safety standards
Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance
Participates in federally recognized and approved accreditation processes, as necessary
Qualifications and Requirements:
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program
Washington State Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-Ray license, ARRT)
Advanced registry in MRI required
Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR required
One year experience as a successful MRI tech preferred
Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
