Job Description

Our client, a prominent leader in the concrete manufacturing industry, specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality concrete products, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Production Supervisor to join their expanding team. This role is critical in managing daily operations within the production department, especially focusing on shipping, receiving, and quality control processes.

Focus:

• Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate material flow to meet production schedules.
• Manage quality control processes, conducting tests and inspections to ensure compliance with product standards.
• Support machine operations and assist with preventative maintenance planning in coordination with the production team.
• Develop and train hourly staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Track and report on inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and replenishment.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and shutdowns, working closely with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Skill Set:

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, with exposure to shipping, receiving, or production coordination.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive for reporting and scheduling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Valid driver’s license required.
