RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the Proposals Team understands the Stakeholders, work Scope, budget, schedule and client expectations
• Develop and propose strategy for each specific proposal
• Develop an internal timeline to meet client proposed submittal date.
• Ensure all proposals meet standards and client requirements, and are delivered on time
• Understand and ensure the Proposal Process and Stage Gates are implemented
• Understanding the proposed scope of work activities and interdependencies to support the development of an accurate budget and schedule.
• Understanding contractual terms and conditions.
• Supporting the establishment of effective working relationships
• Measuring proposal performance and forecasting outcomes
• Implementing course corrections in a constructive manner
• Effectively communicating proposal status to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifying and evaluating potential risks and opportunities.
• Track proposal outcomes and gather client feedback.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and competitor strategies.

COMPETENCIES

• Familiar with both commercial and in-house Proposal Management software
• Familiar with company procedures and plans for HSE, QMS, File Management, etc. systems
• Able to develop project Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) based proposals
• Able to discretize and organize work activities in a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Understand scheduling logic and the Critical Path Method (CPM)

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of experience developing proposals in the energy industry
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing, supervising, or leading a team.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Applied Science, Technical Management, Finance, Economics, Business Development and / or Accounting
