Overview Novant Health has three Pulmonary and/or Pulmonary Critical Opportunities on the beautiful North Carolina Coast! Pulmonary Intensivist at New Hanover Regional in Wilmington, NC Inpatient opportunity 8000 square foot facility with two four-bed sleep labs 800 bed teaching hospital Opportunity to work with residents as part of the UNC-Chapel Hill Resident teaching program at NHRMC Work alongside an experienced team of Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and APPs Admissions and Rounding/Discharge rotation Candidate Qualifications: Board-certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Hybrid Pulmonary and Critical Care in Bolivia and Shallotte, NC Work alongside an experienced team of Critical Care physicians and APPs Flexible work schedule allowing for blocked time off Pulmonologist and Intensivist program working eight-hour days both inpatient and outpatient 6 bed critical care unit Regular bronchoscopies Admissions and Rounding/Discharge rotation Day shift, combination of clinic and inpatient Inpatient week is a 5 day work week with 8 hour shifts Clinic week is a 4 day work week with 9 hour shifts, 4 hours of documentation time included Candidate Qualifications: Board-certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Outpatient Pulmonologist in Wilmington, NC Experience with Pulmonary Medicine, sleep medicine, and pulmonary hypertension, is a plus but not a necessity. Well established screening CT and nodule program. Work alongside an experienced team of physicians and APPs: group has 8 physicians and 7 APP s. Monday - Friday schedule, no call, no holidays or weekends Join an established group of outpatient physicians and APP s Full spectrum outpatient pulmonary patients including management of COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, and sleep apnea.
