The Opportunity
As our new SEO Services Director, you will guide and expand Keever SEO’s high-performing organic search division. You’ll develop cutting-edge strategies, mentor talented SEO specialists, and ensure our services continue to set the standard for excellence in the digital marketing industry. You must have an expert-level understanding of the benefits of SEO , the importance of backlinks , off-page SEO , on-page SEO , and technical SEO . You will have the opportunity to interview directly with our founder, Scott Keever. To join our team, you must demonstrate SEO expertise and strategic insight that match our high standards . Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and evolve all SEO campaigns, from initial audits to performance tracking.
Develop comprehensive SEO strategies to increase traffic that align with Google’s best practices and E-E-A-T principles.
Oversee keyword research, content optimization, link-building, and technical SEO improvements.
Build systems for tracking rankings, backlinks, user engagement, and ROI.
Analyze SEO data using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and related tools.
Mentor and grow a high-caliber SEO team, fostering an environment of innovation and accountability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with development, design, and content teams to deliver cohesive SEO solutions.
Stay ahead of algorithm updates and adapt strategies to maintain leadership as a top SEO company.
Minimum Requirements
Proven portfolio of websites ranked on Page 1 of Google for competitive keywords.
5+ years in advanced SEO strategy with experience managing local SEO and Google Business Profiles.
Account management and sales experience to support client retention and growth.
Demonstrated success in increasing client retention rates and reducing churn.
Expertise in both local and national SEO campaigns across competitive industries.
Proficient with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and interpreting SEO reporting dashboards.
Experience managing and mentoring a team of SEO specialists and virtual assistants.
Strong leadership, client communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven success managing multiple high-value accounts within an agency setting.
Relevant certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Yoast SEO.
Deep understanding of compliance and legal considerations for SEO in regulated industries.
